On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the results of a two-week creative research project (April 27–May 9, 2026) developed at the Department of Dance Study of the Isadora and Raymond Duncan Dance Research were presented, focusing on the work of Isadora Duncan.
Dancer and creator Francesca Todesco, along with the Dances We Dance» team and Joe Williams — an expert in the Delsarte method — collaborated with students from different countries and with Duncan students, creating an open space for exchange, movement and artistic dialogue.
During the presentation, the audience had the opportunity to witness moments from the research and compositional process developed throughout the workshop, where the tradition of Isadora Duncan’s dance met contemporary explorations of movement and stage expression.
The presence and participation of everyone involved highlighted the power of collective creativity and reaffirmed the importance of dialogue between education, research, and living artistic practice.
The Isadora and Raymond Duncan Dance Research Department warmly thanks all participants and the audience, who embraced this event with great enthusiasm. Among those attending the presentation were Mr. Antonis Boziaris, Special Advisor for Primary Education and Culture, and Ms. Dora Xylogianni, Director of Education, Culture, and Sports.

Το Σάββατο 9 Μαΐου 2026 παρουσιάστηκαν τα αποτελέσματα του κύκλου δημιουργικής έρευνας που αναπτύχθηκε για δυο εβδομάδες (27/4- 9/5/2026) στο Τμήμα Μελέτης Χορού Ι. & Ρ. Ντάνκαν γύρω από το έργο της Ισιδώρας Ντάνκαν. Η χορεύτρια και δημιουργός Francesca Todesco, μαζί με την ομάδα Dances We Dance» και τον Joe Williams —ειδικό στη μέθοδο Delsarte— συνεργάστηκαν με σπουδαστές από διαφορετικές χώρες και με μαθητές του Ντάνκαν, δημιουργώντας έναν ανοιχτό χώρο ανταλλαγής, κίνησης και καλλιτεχνικού διαλόγου. Κατά τη διάρκεια της παρουσίασης, το κοινό είχε την ευκαιρία να παρακολουθήσει στιγμές από τη διαδικασία της έρευνας και της σύνθεσης που αναπτύχθηκαν στο πλαίσιο του εργαστηρίου, όπου η παράδοση του χορού της Ισιδώρας Ντάνκαν συναντήθηκε με σύγχρονες αναζητήσεις της κίνησης και της σκηνικής έκφρασης. Η παρουσία και η συμμετοχή όλων ανέδειξαν τη δύναμη της συλλογικής δημιουργίας και επιβεβαίωσαν τη σημασία του διαλόγου ανάμεσα στην εκπαίδευση, την έρευνα και τη ζωντανή καλλιτεχνική πράξη. Το Τμήμα Μελέτης Χορού Ι. & Ρ. Ντάνκαν ευχαριστεί θερμά όλους τους συμμετέχοντες και το κοινό που αγκάλιασε με ενθουσιασμό αυτή την εκδήλωση. Στην παρουσίαση παραβρέθηκαν ο εντεταλμένος σύμβουλος Πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης και Πολιτισμού κ. Αντώνης Μποζιάρης και η Διευθύντρια Παιδείας, Πολιτισμού και Αθλητισμού, κ. Δώρα Ξυλογιάννη.

Sabato 9 maggio 2026 sono stati presentati i risultati del percorso di ricerca creativa sviluppato nel corso di due settimane (27 aprile – 9 maggio 2026) presso il Dipartimento di Studi sulla Danza Isadora e Raymond Duncan, dedicato all’opera di Isadora Duncan.
La danzatrice e coreografa Francesca Todesco, insieme alla compagnia Dances We Dance e a Joe Williams — esperto del metodo Delsarte — ha collaborato con studenti provenienti da diversi Paesi e con allievi della scuola Duncan, creando uno spazio aperto di scambio, movimento e dialogo artistico.
Durante la presentazione, il pubblico ha avuto l’opportunità di assistere a momenti del processo di ricerca e composizione sviluppato nell’ambito del laboratorio, nel quale la tradizione della danza di Isadora Duncan si è incontrata con le contemporanee esplorazioni del movimento e dell’espressione scenica.
La presenza e la partecipazione di tutti hanno messo in luce la forza della creazione collettiva e hanno confermato l’importanza del dialogo tra formazione, ricerca e pratica artistica dal vivo.
Il Dipartimento di Studi sulla Danza Isadora e Raymond Duncan ringrazia calorosamente tutti i partecipanti e il pubblico che ha accolto con entusiasmo questa iniziativa.
Alla presentazione erano presenti il Consigliere delegato per l’Istruzione Primaria e la Cultura, sig. Antonis Boziaris, e la Direttrice dell’Istruzione, Cultura e Sport, sig.ra Dora Xylogianni.
